So I just completed a 1 week training for Bloomingdale's. I graduated on Friday (no, really, they gave me a diploma and I had to stand up in front of everyone while they clapped because I successfully finished training, which really means just showing up on time, which I guess was challenging), and have matriculated to my job position.
This weekend I had a great time visiting with Peter and Angela and Alex and Rory in D.C. We went on a nature walk in Rock Creek Park, went to Dim Sum, went to the National Gallery, relaxed and hung out...
Today I started working at Bloomingdale's full time and also signed a contract to be a guest blogger on Tantes Haus. I will be posting weekly and getting paid for it. Doesn't get much easier than that!
I am working tomorrow with Law & Order SVU again (I can't believe I haven't posted pictures from the first time!). Next week I might start working for a French film as well...they need a driving PA.
This weekend I am going to the Jersey Shore (ha) for a chamber music retreat (double ha). I sort of regretted signing up for it because it is sort of expensive, but I got it 1/2 price, and food and lodging is all included, so that's pretty good. In any case, I'm going to make the best of it. Maybe I'll take some tupperware to really make it worth every dollar. Just kidding. Sort of.
Speaking of which, I've started to get checks in the mail with regularity, with my random jobs here and there, so that is good!
All in all, things are going well, I am keeping very busy, and more to come soon, as always.
Title- the Eileen Fisher section in Bloomingdale's is in the 'New View' which is on the third floor. Stop by to visit sometime. If I'm not out on the floor, I am probably in the stockroom, getting lost in the maze of racks...
