I had a great time with Kathryn and Elizabeth during their visit to New York! They wanted to go see the Wall Street protesters, so we did....
We didn't get advance tickets to go view the building of the ground zero memorial, but we did spot a bar on the 3rd floor of a hotel with a balcony where we figured we could see inside the memorial without going in...and we were right! We sipped on waters as we took in the view (and enjoyed the weather!).
We decided to go see DASH, the Kardashian boutique in SOHO just for kicks. We took a quick coffee break at La Colombe first...if it is coffee from here, I will drink it. Otherwise, I'm not much of a coffee person.
Kardashian boutique was sort of a staged joke, not unexpectedly.
We headed out for the evening- and took a short pit stop in Times Square before heading to a super lovely French restaurant called Matisse.
We loved Matisse- they had a wonderful live band playing, had a great indoor / outdoor vibe, nice atmosphere, and great food!
After brunch the next day, it was clearly time for another coffee. Or gelato.
