Hometown California
There is such a stark contrast between these photos and the photos from all of my previous entries from New York. But here it is, here are the colors and sights that I grew up with every day. Hometown California.
Miles of rolling vineyard as we drive through the Sonoma Valley.
And that particular shade of pink and salmon that the sky is dyed only during a California sunset.

Merry Christmas- with the last of New York Christmas
It is lovely to be here in California with family, but I miss New York very very much already. Merry Christmas with the last of my New York Christmas photos!
Lincoln Center on a rainy night- gorgeous. Meredith gave me one of her season tickets she couldn't make, and it was a Joshua Bell concert!
I remember really admiring these gold hanging sculptures from the outside when I first saw Lincoln Center in the fall. It was wonderful to be able to see them in person, from different heights, up close- how they interact with the space inside the hall.
Giant Christmas lights and Disney characters near Madison Square Garden...
Huge red ornaments hovering over moving water.
Madison Square Garden- packed with people, and also the tree, the angels, the silver flags...
Merry Christmas to you, New York. Until next time.
